The ALG Defense El Jefe rifle is designed for a shooter looking for a Mil-Spec class rifle at a solid price point. El Jefe’s upper and lowers start with domestically sourced 7075 aluminum billets. The billets are heated to near 1000F and then hammered with a 1″100-ton forge press into the rough outside shape of the upper or lower.
